Keltis: Der Weg der Steine Mitbringspiel

In Keltis: Der Weg der Steine Mitbringspiel, a small standalone game in the Keltis family, the familiar idea of creating a numerical sequence is mixed with a press-your-luck element. On a turn, you either take a tile from the center of the table and add it to your tableau or flip a face-down tile, then either leave it in place or add it to your tableau. Tiles come in five colors numbered 0-10, and when you place the second tile of a color, you lock in whether you're ascending or descending in that color. For example, if you take a blue 2, then a blue 4, you can place only blue 5-10 in the future. Some tiles have a symbol that grant you another turn immediately. When the final tile is flipped, the game ends after that player finishes their turn. If you've collected only 1-2 tiles of a color, you lose points; the same applies if you collect fewer than two "wishing stones", a symbol scattered across multiple colors. Sum your score for all five colors and wishing stones, then add any bonus points on tiles you collected. Whoever has the highest score wins.

GAME SYSTEM This entry is to allow for discussion/rating of the game system as a whole. It is not for a specific product or release. Versions will appear on the individual item pages. Battleground: Fantasy Warfare is a point-based table-top tactical wargame in which units are represented by cards instead of a collection of figures or models. We bring you all the charging, flanking and intricate maneuvering of a great wargame in a convenient package for a fraction of the cost. As the general of a fantasy army of Men, Orcs, Elves or whatever faction you choose, you will muster your forces and command them in battle. You will have an agreed-upon number of points to spend on your army, which will determine the size of the battle. You and your opponent will then take turns deploying your forces on the battlefield. Finally you will give them their orders and the battle begins. During play you will have a limited number of Command Actions each turn – one for every 500 points available for building your army. These Command Actions represent what you can do as a general. You can spend them to change a unit’s orders or take direct control of a unit for a turn, rally routed units, draw cards that can provide small combat bonuses or to use your special army ability. Unlike most tabletop wargames where you have complete control over every soldier’s actions, Battleground puts you in the role of a true general. Your troops are loyal and will obey your orders but you can’t be everywhere so you have to spend your resources carefully! Notes: 1. Most Fantasy factions are sold as two separate decks of cards: Starter and Reinforcement. 2. There are also Battleground Historical Warfare conflicts. Each Historical conflict is sold as two boxes: Basic Game and Reinforcements. 3. Scroll down on this page to the Wiki section to see listings of these factions and conflicts.
